Born 1963 in Vienna, Thomas is Managing Director of 'Eyes On'. From 2004-2016 organised and developed the Month of Photography in Vienna, currently he is working mainly as a curator on international projects.
He is also Chairman of Reflektor, a Vienna based platform for self-published photobooks, and member of Rotlicht-Festival, a new festival for analog photography in Vienna.
From 2013-2017 he has been President and 2017/18 Secretary General of EMOP (European Month of Photography).
Since 2014 he has been a member of the advisory board of CAP Prize (Contemporary African Photography Prize).
He has been member of juries for Festivals and Awards and participated as a Portfolio Reviewer in Arles, Athens, Belgrade, Berlin, Bialystok, Bratislava, Budapest, Kaunas, Lille, Ljubljana, Lodz, Luxembourg, Madrid, Montpellier, Montreal, Paris, Vienna, and Zurich.
